Quick Start

These salsa lessons presume you have already done the rumba lessons. Salsa is simply rumba danced faster so learning rumba first is a great way (for most students I think the best way) to start learning salsa.

Salsa Complete Beginners

Next you might learn cha cha complete beginners. Then you would be ready to dance to a wide variety of music.

If you want to learn more salsa you can simply do the additional video below. You can also add anything you learnt for rumba or cha cha. There are also extra latin lessons with more moves and skills that can be added to your salsa.

Beginner Basic Steps

Salsa Beginner Forward-and-Back Basic

The complete beginner lesson used the basic step called back basic. Learning different basic steps is a great way to add variety to your dancing. Many people find forward-and-back basic to be more dynamic.
