How to Dance Salsa

Learn Salsa with these online dance classes. The ticket2dance videos can compliment or replace traditional dance lessons.

Quick Start

I recommend you do the rumba complete beginners video first as that is easier due to the speed of the music.

Video to be added: Salsa Complete Beginner

salsa Complete Beginner (Get started with salsa as quick as possible with just the absolute basics. It will be enough to dance to a whole song and will already be training you with core skills that are useful later on. This should be done after learning rumba complete beginners as it is basically just rumba done faster. Uses the back basic.)

Beginner Basic Steps

The complete beginner lesson used the basic step called back basic. Learning different basic steps is a great way to add variety to your dancing.

Video to be added: Salsa Beginner Forward-and-Back Basic

Salsa Beginner Forward-and-Back Basic (A different basic step which many find is more dynamic and give more momentum.)

Demonstration Dances

Finally, here are some demonstration dances to give you more ideas of how a partner dance can look.
