To reach more exposed paths we will be wild camping so we are near

National Trust Working Holiday in the Brecon Beacons
Saturday July 13th 2013 at 5pm (finishes Saturday July 20th at 10am)
Join the National Trust and enjoy some beautiful countryside.
Week-long holidays helping with a very long-term project in the hills...
Rob Reith has been developing the footpath network in the Brecon Beacons so
that they are less visible, fit in with the natural environment better and stop the erosion that an unmanaged
path with large numbers of walkers can cause.
This is an exciting project and I've been helping for many years now.
All the usual fun in the evenings too, plus a day-off to enjoy the local area.
Location: Brecon Beacons!
You can book and/or ask questions with the National Trust on 0844 800 3099 or on their

You are welcome to contact me about freelance/contract wildlife work. Below is a guide to some of the work I've done:-
- Leading walks in Pyrenees for a summer season. I spent four months leading walks in the Val de Gavarnie region of the Pyrenees. Activities included Bear watching, Eagle watching, Orchid walks and general wildlife walks.
- Leading walks for the Forestry Commission. I enjoyed 8 months in the Loch Lomond area of Scotland running wildlife activities. Activities included Otter watching, Deer watching and general wildlife walks.
- Leading walks in Cevennes National Park for a summer season. I spend four months leading walks in this mountainous region of southern France. Activities included Snake watching, Orchid walks, Bat watching and general wildlife walks.
- Education Officer at Marwell Zoo. Marwell Zoo has a strong commitment to Wildlife Conservation. I spent a summer working as an Education Assistent. This involved running educational activities around the zoo for visitors, including school groups.
- Engaging with visitors to a conservation site in the Pyrenees, France. Organbidexka Col Libra is an exciting wildlife conservation/educational project on the French side of the Pyrenees. After stumbling on them during a three-week hiking expedition in these beautiful mountains I promised to return and help. On returning two years later I spent a summer season working full-time helping visitors (answering their questions, educating them about the wildlife and encouraging donations).
- Leading Working Holidays for the National Trust. I have been a leader for the National Trust Working Holiday Scheme for over 15 years.
- Personal Expeditions have included a summer in the rainforests of Vietnam and a 5 month cycle-trip through 7 countries starting in Britain and finishing in the arctic.
