Book research trips to western Europe, Australasia and Costa Rica!

Blog Post June 5th 2016: Trips planned July 2016 to Mar 2017.

I hope you enjoy reading this blog post. My website has organised content about lots of different topics that are easily found from the homepage. This blog is a more informal area of my website.

I am so lucky to be able to go travelling for work. I slightly make my own luck as I travel using budget options a lot of the time. My cheapest trip yet was I think 3 months through Europe for only £1,400 despite including £500 on a ferry to help me get around Scandinavia.

Join me on my travels! You are welcome to come and join me on one of my trips. Probably it is best if you are into watching wildlife! Contact me if you are interested. Also, if you want to help me record a YouTube video about games, wildlife or something else I'd love to meet up for that.

Current plans:-

These are not organised holidays. To join me you need to book your own flight, accommodation and transport. However, this is not necessarily too difficult as I can tell you exactly where and when to book. (In some cases we do not book in advance and simply turn up and pay if it is not peak holiday season where we are going.) When hiking to look for wildlife we will often walk in complete silence and generally get up very early at dawn every day (which is ok as we also go to bed very early) in order see as much wildlife as possible. In some cases we will repeat a route on more than one day for book-research purposes or in order to try and see a particular rare animal. If you cannot keep up with the hiking speed then some days you will have to find your own thing to do as I have to cover a lot of ground some days to complete research for my wildlife guides. Strangely you also need to be willing to hike slowly if we are looking for shy wildlife and in cases like that you would not be able to walk ahead of the main group because we need to all find the wildlife at the same time and try not to disturb it. There is always a chance my plans will change. If you have contacted me about one of these trips I will tell you straight away if I see any chance of it changing and keep you updated: however wildlife watching is difficult and requires a lot of planning to be at the right place at the right time so the trips you see here are unlikely to change.

Help me make a YouTube video! If I am passing near you then it would be great to join up to make a video. I obviously have to travel between the itineraries shown above. So, even if you are not exactly at one of the places listed above I might be able to travel to you so we can record a video. I am excited to keep building my YouTube channel and the long term vision is to make it a positivity-based channel celebrating people doing things they love. I am also going to be adding some learning videos on there focussing on logical thinking and how it can help us understand others and avoid conflict. Help me grow my positive, fun YouTube channel!

Current Video Ideas:-

If you are familiar with my YouTube channel and can think of something for us to do that is not on here let me know!
